Celebrity Bartending: "Tending For Text Books"
Saint Luke School is hosting our first ever Celebrity Bartending event during happy hour (5:00-8:00) on Tuesday, October 12, 2010 @ Molly Brannigan's.
The funds raised from this event will be used to help defray the annual cost of new text books. For the 2010-2011 school year alone, the bill for just Religion books was over $5,000.00 for our students.
Come support Saint Luke School by donating through the tip jars while being served by local celebrities who have ties to Saint Luke School - from alumni, parents, teachers, former teachers, community figures alike!
Bring your whole family for dinner...adults order a beverage and tip well!

Adopt-A-Brick: Memorial Wall Project
Saint Luke School is building a second memorial wall, similar to the one outside the school office. This wall will be placed near the gym entrance, wrapping around the memorial tree of former teacher Mrs. Kapper.
The base of the wall has already been built and the first course of bricks will go up before the snow fall. Get your order in as soon as possible to be in the first round of installations! The second course will not be placed on the wall until the remainder of the orders are sold.
There will be a limited number of only 200 bricks sold on a first come, first served basis. The cost of a brick is only $100.00 and the order form can be downloaded here. While $100.00 sounds like a lot of money- think of how long the brick will remain in front of Saint Luke School! It is a cost that is well worth the money.
If you own a business, consider advertising your business in our memorial wall also!

The students will make their way across East 38th Street showing their Crusader pride all the way, carrying signs and wearing their uniforms.
For more details about when and where your class will be walking from and what the proper attire will be for the day, please watch in your Thursday Folder!

New School Website
Saint Luke School has recently redesigned our website, making the information that is needed by current and prospective families even more accesible. The new site provides quick links to the latest information on what is happening in our classrooms, our social networks, and more!
One of the most recent updates is the addition of the latest Parent Broadcast announcements scrolling across the top of the site. While it may not always be accurate as the most recent, we will try our best to keep this aspect current. Another new feature is the online Thursday Folder, where you can access forms and announcements that have been sent home in the folder if you've lost the original copy.
To view the school website, please visit us online at the following link: www.slserie.org.
