Welcome to 4A!  You have finally made it to the second floor!  It is going to be an exciting  year and Miss Drathman and I are looking forward to getting to know each and every one of you. 

The fourth grade’s weekly activities and test dates will be posted here.  We will also post a monthly review of  everything the students have done in the past 30 days and post reminders for any large projects or assignments.

Please remember to continue to review your multiplication and division flashcards, they are very important and need to be memorized.  It is also important to read at home every day, read aloud to your parents or read to yourself….just read:)  There are many books to choose from in the SLS library and the 4A library in our classroom.

All hardcover text books need to covered by Tuesday, September 7th.   Art class will begin this week and Spanish will start next week.  4A will have Spanish on Wednesdays right before Library.  This week we will continue to focus on multiplication and division and will have a quiz on Thursday.  Reading counts will be up and running sometime next week.  I will ask all of my students to set their September goal and give everyone ample time to take the Reading Counts quizzes throughout the month.  Please make sure your child spends some time reading at home especially on the weekends when their homework load is lighter.
