EXCITING NEWS – Ski the Winter Blahs Away
We are very excited, we have been awarded another Highmark healthy high 5 grant. This year in grades 4-8 our students will be outside experiencing winter on cross country skis. We would really like to thank Highmark for this wonderful opportunity to help our children explore a new possibility to move.

Keep Kids Healthy with Random Acts of Fitness
Be on the lookout for Random Acts of Fitness. It could be with physical activity, nutrition and healthy eating, or postive healthy lifestyle choice. Students will be reporting monthly Random Acts of Fitness. Random will mean is it not part of their normal acitivities; monthly we will draw a student as “Random Fit Student of the Month”. We are gearing up our year to be Healthy one.
Grading -
Students in Grades 5-8 are graded in Physical Education.
Students are Graded on uniform, participation, assignments, and a rubric which includes: following directions, cooperation, sportsmanship, self control and staying on task.
